Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has suspended 4 commissioners, Head of Service and Special Adviser on Lands for three months. The Finance Commissioner is among. No reason was given.

Honourable Commissioner for Chieftaincy Affairs
Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism
Honourable Commissioner for Sports

Also suspended for three months are the State Head of Service and the Special Adviser on Lands.
